"Better to Light a Candle" is the eighth and final episode of the first season of BBC America's The Watch. It premiered on February 14, 2021.
Synopsis[]
Carcer's got everything he needs to control the Noble Dragon and destroy Ankh-Morpork; The Watch must step up and save the city from annihilation.
Deleted scenes[]
Due to restrictions imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, a scene scripted for the episode in which Angua hinted to Carrot at having heard his confession to the mirror, leaving him wondering "Oh my God, did she hear me? Oh, crap. I don’t know" was left unfilmed.[1]
Quotes[]
"Why do we have to be on the posters, Cheery?"
"We're the Watch, which means..."
"Anybody can be."
"I know. Even if the quotas do come down, there's still the Thieves' Guild and the Assassins' Guild. A whole lot of wrong we can't touch."
